Kent is rich with variety – something for everyone – and within easy driving distance are innumerable places of interest including Dover, Chilham Castle, Canterbury, Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst, country houses, gardens, wildlife parks, vineyards, Romney Marsh with its steam railway, several RSPB reserves, and many historic sites.
Ashford International Station makes for easy access across the Channel, as do the ferries from Dover and Folkestone. Boughton is not well served by buses, but there is a good train service from Wye.
